Hard Hat Hippo uses cookies sparingly. Here's the full list — no surprises.

Essential Cookies (Always Active)

• supabase-auth-token — Keeps you logged in. Expires when you log out or after 7 days.
• theme — Remembers your light/dark mode preference. Never expires (stored in localStorage).

Campaign (First Visit Only)

• hhh_utm — Remembers utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign from the first page you open. Not overwritten by a later visit. Expires after 90 days. The same value is saved in localStorage under hhh_utm so signup still has it. If you create an account, we copy those three values onto your worker or employer record. First-party only. Not an ad cookie.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies. It counts page views without tracking individuals. No personal data is collected. No cookie banner is legally required for Plausible — we show one anyway because we believe in transparency.

What We Don't Use

• No Google Analytics
• No Facebook Pixel
• No retargeting or advertising cookies
• No third-party tracking of any kind

That's the list. A login session, light or dark mode, and the first link that brought you here. Plausible counts visits without a tracking cookie. No ad cookies.
